Business President & Admin Positions
Business President at Roots Health Bar
The President of Roots Health Bar will enjoy the responsibilities of overseeing the success of a fully functioning restaurant and catering company. The key function that the President will fulfill, will be that of clearly understanding the vision and mission of Roots and to craft intelligent strategies that will lead the restaurant to success. This person will be in charge of overseeing a multi-layered team including the Roots Executive Team and the restaurant staff. This person will be expected to have an excellent understanding of the restaurant ́s finances, operations, and marketing in order to ensure that Roots is reaching its goals in each respective field. The President of Roots will also form part of the Loyola Limited Executive team and will have the opportunity to play an important role in shaping the program as a whole.
Business President at Chainlinks
The President of Chainlinks is responsible for managing all aspects of the nonprofit, including Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Community Engagement. The President serves as the primary point of contact regarding the short and long-term strategies and initiatives of the organization. To ensure consistent sustainability, community engagement, customer satisfaction, and financial security, the President pushes for top performance and entrepreneurial growth from the entire Chainlinks team on a daily basis. Additionally, The President will be trained as a Bike Mechanic and will provide repair and rental services.
Business President at Ireland’s Pub 10
The President of Ireland’s Pub 10 is the leader of operations and works with their admin team for the continued success and improvement of the business. The core responsibility of the President is to lead their team in making informed, data-driven decisions for the business. The President plans for the future of Ireland’s Pub 10 while also overseeing the daily operations.
Vice President of Events & Engagement, Chainlinks
The Vice President of Events and Engagement is responsible for coordinating community outreach and engagement events for Chainlinks. This includes activities on campus like workshops, classes, and community rides, as well as activities outside the shop like events in the community. Chainlinks in the past has been engaged in the Loyola Farmers Market, Lollapalooza, beach cleanups, Welcome Week, and social rides. The VP of Events and Engagement is responsible for coordinating and promoting all events, working with other Chainlinks employees as necessary.
Vice President of Marketing, Chainlinks
The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for managing all aspects of Chainlinks Marketing, including social media management, event advertising, and website. Their role is essential in maintaining a consistent brand image and ensuring that Chainlinks is effectively interacting with all parts of the customer base. The VP of Marketing will also be trained as a Mechanic and will perform repairs and rental management as such. A particular aptitude for community engagement or event planning is desired due to Chainlinks large dedication to community events and engagement
Vice President of Events, Ireland’s Pub 10
The Vice President of Events at Ireland’s is the point person for all events held in Ireland’s. The core responsibility of the Vice President of Events is to ensure all events go smoothy, as well as plan for future events.
Vice President of Inventory Management, The Wolf’s Kettle
The Vice President of Inventory Management ensures The Wolf’s Kettle have food and drinks to sell. The core responsibilities of this role are to work with suppliers when placing orders, schedule deliveries, and maintaining proper inventory levels at the business. This job requires close work with the Vice President of Operations at The Wolf’s Kettle.
Vice President of Operations, Chainlinks
The Vice President of Operations is responsible for maintaining all operational aspects of Chainlinks, including operational efficiency and bike maintenance . Also, the VP of Operations will be responsible for rental service with knowledge specific to rental bikes and interact with Chainlinks customers to provide knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt service. Ensures a comfortable and safe work environment while working with the team.

Responsible for leading the daily and long term marketing and advertising for The Flats at Loyola Station, and ensuring overall quality management of a high end and well-promoted guesthouse. They will also be responsible for doing additional research and analysis to pinpoint marketing strategies for the business.

The Vice President of Finance maintains the finances of The Wolf’s Kettle. The core responsibilities of this role are to publish and maintain financial documents, recommend data-driven financial decisions, and keep the business up-to-date on the financial reporting. This job requires close work with the Vice President of Operations at The Wolf’s Kettle, and the Vice President of Inventory Management at The Wolf’s Kettle.

Entry Level Positions
Bicycle Mechanic, Chainlinks
Each Chainlinks Mechanic is responsible for the repair of all customer bikes and the maintenance of all rental bikes. Additionally, each bike mechanic plays a critical role in ensuring quality customer service, communication, and upholding a positive shop environment. Every mechanic is fully trained in bicycle maintenance and repair, but is also encouraged to bring their own skills to the table and cross-train in other aspects of the organization. Given the small team structure, it is vital that each mechanic work efficiently and confidently with all members of the team in order to share workload and offer opportunities for growth for the entire organization.
Associate of Guest Services, The Flats at Loyola Station
Responsible for assisting with the management and daily operations for The Flats at Loyola Station and ensuring overall quality management of a fully-functioning guesthouse. Also responsible for ensuring the Flats are well-represented with past guests, future guests, and the Rogers Park community as a whole.
